Another Monday -

I don't know where the days/weeks go! They just fly by lately. We had a fun weekend though. Friday we took my MIL down to Disneyland & Ca Adventure for her b-day. We had fun and got to embarrass her by making her wear a "Happy Birthday" button. Did you know you can get one from any informatin booth for FREE! The Cast Members and Characters go out of their way to tell you "Happy B-day" when you have one on. We stayed late for the Electrical Parade, so it was a long day.
Sat. We had a b-day breakfast for MIL and then signed K up for another season of soccer. This is our 6th season I think - it's amazing to see how she has grown since we started. We have met so many good friends through it, but this season we're the only ones playing. :( It's time to get that soccer album done! I decided to do a 12x12 album and put all the seasons in it. I think I'm almost done with the Spring 2005 team. I need more cropping time!
Once again, we have a beautiful So Ca day! The computer says its 74 degrees out. What am I doing inside on the computer???

Back to the Stamp Studio I go - I'm almost done with all my supplies for this weekend's Stamp Classes. If you haven't RSVP'd yet, please do it asap! We'll be doing the Chalkboard Technique and using the Die Cut-out flowers and rub-ons.

A PAIR OF SHOES - AUTHOR UNKNOWN

I am wearing a pair of shoes.
They are ugly shoes.
Uncomfortable shoes.
I hate my shoes.
Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair.
Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step.
Yet, I continue to wear them.
I get funny looks wearing these shoes.
They are looks of sympathy.
I can tell in others eyes that they are glad they are my shoes and not theirs.
They never talk about my shoes.
To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable.
To truly understand these shoes you must walk in them.
But, once you put them on, you can never take them off.
I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes. There are many pairs in this world.
Some woman are like me and ache daily as they try and walk in them.
Some have learned how to walk in them so they don't hurt quite as much.
Some have worn the shoes so long that days will go by before they think about how much they hurt.
No woman deserves to wear these shoes.
Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman.
These shoes have given me the strength to face anything.
They have made me who I am.
I will forever walk in the shoes of a woman who has lost a child.
