Stampin' Up!'s Newest Product!

What is this new product? Décor Elements is a line of wall art made from vinyl used to decorate your home. They are self-adhesive vinyl wall decorations that can be used on walls, windows, plates, vases, mirrors, picture frames - anything the vinyl will cling to!

I have my pre-order in and am so excited to try these out! July 1 will be the first day that these are available to customers. My supply of brochures is on the way. Let me know if you'd like a hard copy or I can send you the brochure in an email.

Get Them While You Can! SU! Retiring List

Be sure to check out the Retiring List! Once these stamps are gone - they are gone forever! You can see the list on my SU! website. Please order by August 10, 2008.

REMINDER ABOUT THE MINI CATALOG - June 30 is the last day to order! If you can have orders to me by the 22nd of June, I'd appreciate it.

Gifts for Kayley's Teacher

I made a lunchbox and mini album for Kayley's Kinder teacher.

The album had a pic of each child in her class and then pictures from the Spring Semester.

Supplies:

Diecut flower, Chunky glitter, punches, ribbon, Cutie Pie Designer Paper from Stampin' Up!

Define Your Life - stamp set (SU!)

The Last Week of Kindergarten!

Monday was "Mud Day" - Kayley and Adom came home from school like this. (Adom is a neighbor boy who has been hanging out with us after school).

Monday we had our new boulders delivered too! We finally decided on them to fill the empty spot where the tree used to be. The kids love to climb on them - who would have thought they would be sooo exciting!

Tuesday was "Water Day" at school. The kids had a blast playing with bubbles and in the lawn sprinklers. Tuesday was my usual day helping in class, so I got to see all the fun.

Playing in the water.

Wednesday was the Awards Assembly for K-1. Kayley got 4 awards! We are so proud of her! She got the monthly Scholar award, a District Citizenship Award, Perfect Attendance for the 3rd Trimester, and Perfect Attendance for the Year. She was so excited to get them - her favorite was the one that came with an In N Out coupon. :)

Wednesday afternoon was the Kindergarten BBQ. Of course, I had to stay and help out. The kids had fun eating hotdogs, chips and watermelon.

Waiting in the food line. There are 100 kindergarteners!

The LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Kayley wanted me to come to school today - again, so I went at the end of the day to get all those "last day of school" pictures.

Saying "Good-bye" to Miss Gauger. She wanted to take the bus home instead of riding with me.

Her Kindergarten Diploma was in her report card envelope. She had 100% on her Language Arts and Math. We are so proud of her! We know she'll do great in 1st Grade next August.

A PAIR OF SHOES - AUTHOR UNKNOWN

I am wearing a pair of shoes.
They are ugly shoes.
Uncomfortable shoes.
I hate my shoes.
Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair.
Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step.
Yet, I continue to wear them.
I get funny looks wearing these shoes.
They are looks of sympathy.
I can tell in others eyes that they are glad they are my shoes and not theirs.
They never talk about my shoes.
To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable.
To truly understand these shoes you must walk in them.
But, once you put them on, you can never take them off.
I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes. There are many pairs in this world.
Some woman are like me and ache daily as they try and walk in them.
Some have learned how to walk in them so they don't hurt quite as much.
Some have worn the shoes so long that days will go by before they think about how much they hurt.
No woman deserves to wear these shoes.
Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman.
These shoes have given me the strength to face anything.
They have made me who I am.
I will forever walk in the shoes of a woman who has lost a child.
