What a busy week!

We took my mom (Grandma) back to the airport on Monday. The few days she was here flew by! K loves to play with her. I think they played some 60 games of UNO while here and in the car. We had a blast at Disneyland! We were lucky and got some of the "Year of a Million Dreams" Dream Fastpasses. I spotted Peter Pan by Dumbo, so we went running for him. He was passing them out! Unfortunately, Chuck is the one who goes on all the rides with Kayley, so we didn't use the passes to their full potential. Soooo - if you go to Disney keep your eyes out for those employees in the white shirts and blue pants! They have good stuff with them!
I've added a few more pictures to the Slide show from Feb 8, so check them out. I'll be adding more later.
Gotta run! My stamp class ladies will be arriving soon!

Day 1 at Disneyland with Grandma!

We picked Grandma (my mom) up at the airport and then headed to Disneyland yesterday afternoon. She hasn't been in 30 years - since I was K's age. We couldn't pass up the great Wildfire Hero Salute special they had. We'll be heading back down this weekend for 2 more days of fun. The weather forecast says 70 degree weather! We're looking forward to a great weekend.
We were able to ride "Finding Nemo" and "Soaring Over California" yesterday. We also saw the "Aladdin" show at CA Adventure.

Happy Friday!

It's another beautiful day in the High Desert! Still a little cold, but at least the sun is out! The mountains look so pretty with all the snow. I'll have to try to get some pictures before its gone.

I should be in my stamp room right now making swaps for the SU! Regional tomorrow in Anaheim. I'll going down with another Demo friend of mine. I have to pick her up at 6:00 am. I have no idea how I'll get up that early! I'm looking forward to going though. It's been several years since I've been to a SU! company event. So far, I have about 50 card fronts done. I heard there could be 300-500 attendees! I think getting 100 done will be my goal.

Feb's calendar is filling up quickly for us! Grandma (my mom) is coming into town on the 7th. K and I are excited to take her to Disneyland over the weekend. It's been 30 years since she's been. Boy has it changed! Get ready for more Disney pictures after next weekend. :)

I've been working on adding more stuff to my Blog. Please check it all out! Its been fun learning how to do everything. We finally broke down and updated my computer - I'm loving it! I didn't realize how old my last one was - the memory was really low. I'm loving the FIOS internet connection now - it's so FAST! If you can get Fiber Optic - get it!

Have a great weekend! Feel free to add comments. I think I fixed that part.

A PAIR OF SHOES - AUTHOR UNKNOWN

I am wearing a pair of shoes.
They are ugly shoes.
Uncomfortable shoes.
I hate my shoes.
Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair.
Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step.
Yet, I continue to wear them.
I get funny looks wearing these shoes.
They are looks of sympathy.
I can tell in others eyes that they are glad they are my shoes and not theirs.
They never talk about my shoes.
To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable.
To truly understand these shoes you must walk in them.
But, once you put them on, you can never take them off.
I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes. There are many pairs in this world.
Some woman are like me and ache daily as they try and walk in them.
Some have learned how to walk in them so they don't hurt quite as much.
Some have worn the shoes so long that days will go by before they think about how much they hurt.
No woman deserves to wear these shoes.
Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman.
These shoes have given me the strength to face anything.
They have made me who I am.
I will forever walk in the shoes of a woman who has lost a child.
