Project #1 for April's Stamp Class

I just LOVE this new Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die from Stampin' Up! I couldn't wait to use it for stamp class! The girls (and guy) also liked it a lot! You can't beat the price either - $7.95!

For these cards we embossed on paper from the "WALK IN THE PARK" series that is available in the OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG on p. 9. For the card base we used In-Color Textured cardstock - I just love the feel of this paper! We also used the new SCALLOP OVAL PUNCH found on p. 8 of the mini. Several saying stamps fit perfectly in the medium oval punch which is then layered onto the Scallop Punched out piece. A little "WHISPER WHITE ORGANZA RIBBON" tied around the top of the card complete this simple card!

Happy Easter!!

We had a busy and fun weekend!! I wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY Belated EASTER!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with family, friends, and fun! Here are some pics from our weekend!
Friday night we saw "MAMMA MIA!" at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. We have had so much fun seeing several different plays this year! "WICKED" is still the #1 favorite, but "MAMMA MIA!" was a close second. "GREASE" was good too!


After the last few shows, the actors have been doing fundraising for AIDS and other charities. We were able to get our picture with one of the actors after we got a "MAMMA MIA!" apron. Guess I better start cooking now! :) This actor is the one who is interested in the other woman. He was an amazing dancer!
